Major Motors is now proudly run by Rob and Joe, who have been part of the garage since 2010 and 2017 respectively. Rob joined the business after gaining experience at a variety of independent garages and main dealerships, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge across all aspects of vehicle servicing and repair. Joe began his career at Major Motors as an apprentice and, after qualifying, has continued to develop his skills and expertise in modern vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.
Together, Rob and Joe are committed to providing the honest, reliable, and high-quality service that Major Motors has become known for throughout Newcastle-under-Lyme and the surrounding areas. Vehicle Diagnostics
Diagnostic testing has become a major part of our activities here at Major Motors Ltd, due to the increased use of electronics in the modern motor vehicle. Even a well serviced car can fall foul due to electrical problems! Most of modern cars have multiple electronic control units from the engine management to electric windows.
Vehicle Servicing & MOT
It may be a Full service, an Interim service or a Small service you require. We will be happy to offer advice as to which service is required, and all parts used will be high quality original equipment parts or if your car is still in warranty, genuine parts will be used if required in order that the warranty is not affected.
Vehicle Air Conditioning
At Major Motors Ltd we use a fully automatic air conditioning machine. This will remove any refrigerant and then vacuum the system for 30 minutes to remove any old oil and moisture which is in the system. The machine will then hold a vacuum for a period of time to ensure there are no leaks and only then will it add the correct amount of oil and refrigerant to ensure your system performs efficiently.
Tyres and Wheel Alignment
We can supply, fit and balance tyres using some of the latest equipment, we keep in stock a large selection of the most popular tyres and if we don’t stock the tyre you require it is usually available from our supplier the same day, or at worse next day. We recommend having a 4 wheel alighment if your suffering any tyre wear, we now use the latest equipment so we can easily check your alighment of all four wheels.
